Meet Annette, Your High Desert Fantasy Portrait Photographer
You want more than a photo; you want proof that this moment, this version of you, actually happened.
Hi, I’m Annette, and I photograph the book nerds, the Star Wars fans, the moms who are so much more than just a mom. The ones whose inside world is the most magical thing about them, and nobody's ever thought to photograph that. If that's you, you're in the right place.
I grew up without childhood photos, lost my own wedding pictures, and didn't understand how much any of that mattered until I was sitting in photography school writing my “why”. Something just clicked that day, and I never looked back.
So I built a business, complete with a cottage studio on my property in my corner of the High Desert. It even has a big trunk full of fairy wings, gowns, robes, and crowns. I photograph the people who want a piece of the fairytale, the dreamers, the ones who want to play. I create those magical kinds of photos.
My sessions are playful, guided, and full of laughter, and everything is always kept very light. This will not feel like a school photo. You don't need to know how to pose. You just need to arrive ready and willing, and I'll handle the rest.
And when it's all done, I'll hand-deliver your artwork to your door. Printed art is forever, and so are you.

Digital is Disposable.
Your Story isn’t.
Question: You say everywhere that you only offer prints and albums. Do I get any digital files at all?
Answer: YES! I give you a digital copy of each purchased image to use for social media. I know you want to show off your beautiful photos to friends and family online.
Question: How long does it take to get my album or framed print?
Answer: I give myself 3 weeks. Some things take longer to get back from my professional print lab. But, usually, everything is delivered to you within 2-3 weeks.
