The Consultation

We’ll start with a quick and painless phone call. You’ll share all your wants, hopes, and dreams; who will be photographed, and where the session will take place. I will help you decide on the outfits and props (the more, the merrier). Pricing will be discussed over the phone. And, I’ll share my passion for printing images.

After you book me, I’ll send an email with a detailed portrait session prep guide. I want you to look and feel your best on photo day, and having a guide can help.

Portrait Session

I’ll arrive early to scout the location if we’re not meeting in my home studio. You should arrive on time, especially if you need to change. We will start with the “Hi, how are ya’s” and then get right to it.

If we plan for an in-home session, I will arrive 30 minutes early to set up. I’ll bring everything we need, so ignore me until you’re finished getting ready.

It will be fun and carefree. If you want to play music, you can! If you need to bring a hype friend, do it! At the end of your session, we will wrap up and give each other high fives, fist bumps, or hugs.

If you’re nervous about your upcoming session, don’t be. I will guide and pose you throughout the entire session. I’ll show you where to place your hands and which shoulder to tuck your hair behind. That’s my job, and I love it.

You get to be the star for the day, and you’ll love it!

*I lightly retouch photos as part of my service. If you wake up with a blemish, I’ll take care of it. If you have a small scratch your beloved cat gave you, I can take care of that, too. I cannot, however, make you 10 feet tall or give you blue hair. We’re celebrating you, not who you think you should be.

Ordering Appointment

We will meet again in 2-3 weeks, so you can see your images, and then you will order and purchase what you love. You can choose from albums, canvas, framed prints, and anything else you’d like.

2-3 weeks later, I will hand-deliver everything you ordered. I love seeing the look on my clients’ faces when they receive their beautiful portraits! It’s the best part.
