Portrait Session Experience:

High Desert Family Photography

No Pressure. Just Joy!

The Consultation Call

Your journey begins with a quick 20-minute call. We’ll have a simple chat — no pressure, where you share with me what you really want from your session. Why do you want these photos? Who will be with you in them?

After you’re booked, I’ll email an easy prep guide so you can feel your best on photo day.

Get excited! I know I am.

Photo Session Day

Arrive rested and ready to have fun! I’ll gently guide you so you forget you’re being photographed.

Don’t know what to do with your hands? That’s my job, don’t worry about a thing.

  • I’ll arrive early to scope out the area if you choose an Outdoor on Location session.

  • If you choose My Studio for your session, everything will be ready for you. If you opted to have your hair and makeup done, the artist will be ready for you.

  • If we plan for a lifestyle session at your home, I will arrive on time and take 30 minutes to set up some simple lighting. You can finish getting ready while I set up.

Your session will feel light and stress-free. If you want to play music, do it! If you need to bring a hype friend, bring her!

Images will be edited and ready within 2-3 weeks.

I want you to leave saying, “That was actually fun!”

*I lightly retouch photos as part of my service. If you wake up with a blemish, I’ll take care of it. If you have a small scratch your beloved cat gave you, I can take care of that, too. I won’t, however, make you taller or give you blue hair.

Reveal, Ordering Appointment & Hand Delivery

We will meet again in 2-3 weeks to choose your favorite images. You only purchase what you love. Prints, framed art, acrylic, metal, or an album.

I’ll send the images off to a professional print lab.

Wall art begins at $493; some people spend $500, some spend $3000, depending on what you want. My Pricing page is here.

3 weeks later, I will hand-deliver everything to your door. I love seeing the look on my clients’ faces when they receive their beautiful portraits! It’s the best part.
