Family sessions are a mix of natural, light posing, and adventurous candids; they’re designed to capture lasting memories. Sometimes the unexpected moment is the favorite.

Family Portraits in the High Desert

Whether you’re a family of 2 or 22, I’d love to create magic with you. Bring grandma along, generation photos are the most treasured. They are something you will cherish for decades after loved ones have passed.

If you are a blended family with step-parents and children, neighborhood “adopted” kids, and friends who simply “live” at your house, we’ll make it work.

My goal is to incorporate everyone and make everyone feel included. Families can be messy sometimes, but at the end of the day, you’re a family, and photos are memories of all the love you share!

I have a simple routine that I go to when photographing big or little families.

I start with Grandma, and we work around her. Grandkids, kids, great grandkids. Older family members get tired quickly, so we work around them first.

Then, we’ll go from there. Kids and spouses, with their kids. Siblings and even the family dog.

I like capturing an individual parent with kids, kids together, and individual portraits of each child. It’s always nice to have options.

If you have certain photos you want, please let me know. And, I like to learn about family dynamics. We will chat about this on our consultation call.
