Enchanting Locations Year-Round
Wrightwood is one of those rare places that's stunning in every season. Yellow and purple wildflowers in spring, tall pines that offer some much-appreciated shade in the summer, golden aspens in fall, and a snowy winter wonderland that feels straight out of a storybook.
Yes, Wrightwood is beautiful.
Small caveat: if you want a winter snow session, it’s best to book on a quiet weekday. We want to avoid traffic from the weekend snow players.
Favorite Wrightwood Session Spots:
Mescal Picnic Area: Tall trees with dappled light that create an almost magical, ethereal quality in portraits. Curved wooden bridge with steps you can dangle your feet from. My favorite golden hour spot.
Jackson Lake is a peaceful spot with reflective water and is backed by mountain scenery for truly breathtaking backdrops.
Grassy Hollow Area: Open areas under a tall forest, perfect for families and couples who want that wide-open mountain feel. We can venture on a short hike for photos as well.
Whether you have a location in mind or want me to choose based on the season and your vision, I know this mountain pretty well and will find the perfect spot for your session.

Investment
Sessions begin with a $150 booking fee to reserve your date.
You only pay for images that you love and adore for wall art and albums. I won’t send you a large gallery of digital images, and wish you the best of luck. I’m not that kind of photographer. I photograph with intention. Where do you want to display the photos? A large 40” canvas above the couch? Or, 25 family images for an album? Yes, this is an investment. It’s for you and your family.
