Hi, I'm Annette.
I built a fairytale studio in my yard, right here in the High Desert.
I'm a photographer with a wild imagination and a passion for people who refuse to be ordinary. My sessions are laid-back, filled with laughter, kid-friendly, and never forced or stressful.
I'll gently guide you so nothing feels stiff, and your kids can be exactly who they are. Big or little. Weird or wonderful.

What we can create together
Fantasy & Whimsical Portraits: Little ones, cosplay teens, and adults who want in on the magic. Outdoors in the Junipers or in my fairytale studio.
Family Sessions: Your family, your way. Silly hats welcome. Leather jackets on toddlers encouraged.
Maternity: Because you're growing an actual human and that deserves to be celebrated like the miracle it is.
Seniors & Graduates: Boring is for school. Let's do something they'll actually want to hang on their wall.
Branding: You didn't build your business overnight. Your photos shouldn't look like you did.
Question: When is the best time to take maternity portraits?
Answer: 30-34 weeks. Yes, it’s a tight timeline. This ensures you have a belly to show off in your photos. And, you’re not so big, it’s uncomfortable to stand, kneel, squat, etc. I have a page full of information, read it here. Keep in mind, everyone’s body is different, and babies show up sooner or later during pregnancy.
Simple 3-Step Journey
Schedule a Call
1. Consultation
We’ll start with a quick 20 min phone call for you to share the who, what, where, and why. Tell me why you want photos and what you want to do with them.
You can get to know me and see if we’re a good fit.
I’ll share everything I offer, and if you want, we can also meet in person.
Portrait Session
2. The Adventure
We’ll meet up for your session, which will take place on location, in my studio, or at your home.
You should feel relaxed, but excited, and ready to laugh and have fun. Your portraits will be a mix of candids and light poses. Nothing stuffy or stressful here.
I’ll edit and lightly retouch your images, and they will be ready in 2-3 weeks.
Prints & Albums
3. Reveal and Order appointment & Delivery
We’ll meet in person for your photo reveal. You decide which ones you want as wall art, prints, or in an album at this ordering appointment.
3-4 weeks after that, I’ll hand-deliver your custom artwork.

Sessions begin with a 150 booking fee.

Portraits take place in the High Desert in Southern California. On location, your home, or my studio.
